Prepare the pattern
※This pattern is an expansion set for the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat.”
To complete the hat, you need both the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat” and the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat [Bread Loaf Parts]” patterns.

If you don’t have the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat” pattern yet, head to the product page using the button below!

Choose either “A4” or “A3” print size and print at actual size (100%).
Please note that we cannot offer refunds for orders placed in the wrong size.

Cut out and assemble the pattern
Cut out the pattern along the cutting lines.

Overlap the tabs with matching numbers and tape them together.

Cut out all the pieces from both the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat [Bread Loaf Parts]” and the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat.”

Modify the pattern
First, take the “Outer C” of the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat” and the “A” of the “Bread Loaf Parts,” and layer them as shown in the figure (overlapping the red-line areas).

Mark the spots shown in the figure with a pen.

Connect the left and right marks with a straight line.

Draw another line 1 cm above the line you drew in step 3-3 to add seam allowance.

Cut the pattern along the line you drew in step 3-4. The “Outer C” of the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat” is now modified.

Now layer the “Outer A” of the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat” and the “A” of the “Bread Loaf Parts” the same way as in step 3-1, and tape them together.

We’ll proceed using these 5 pieces: the modified “Outer A” and “Outer C” of the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat,” the “Outer B” and “Lining A” of the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat,” and the “B” of the “Bread Loaf Parts.”

Cut out the fabric
Cut two pieces of fabric from the Outer A pattern.
One is for the front, the other for the back of the head.
For the front piece, also cut a face opening.

Cut two pieces of fabric from the Outer C pattern as well. These are the pieces for both sides of the bread loaf.

Cut just one piece from the “B” pattern of the “Bread Loaf Parts.” This is the piece for the top (crown) of the bread loaf.

Cut just one piece from the Outer B pattern. This is the piece for the bottom of the bread loaf.

Please see the “How to Make the Cube-Shaped Plush Hat” recipe.

For the bread loaf, join the pieces as shown
Place the “B” of the “Bread Loaf Parts” in the middle, and join an Outer C piece on each side.

The last panel is the back-of-head piece
For the bread loaf, the last piece to sew is the “back-of-head piece” you cut from Outer A.
