Prepare the pattern

Download the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat [Bread Loaf Parts]” pattern

※This pattern is an expansion set for the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat.”
To complete the hat, you need both the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat” and the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat [Bread Loaf Parts]” patterns.

Print the pattern at actual size

Choose either “A4” or “A3” print size and print at actual size (100%).

Please note that we cannot offer refunds for orders placed in the wrong size.

Cut out and assemble the pattern

Cut out the pattern

Cut out the pattern along the cutting lines.

Overlap the tabs and tape them

Overlap the tabs with matching numbers and tape them together.

Cut out the other pieces the same way

Cut out all the pieces from both the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat [Bread Loaf Parts]” and the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat.”

Modify the pattern

Modify the Cube-Shaped Plush Hat “Outer C”

First, take the “Outer C” of the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat” and the “A” of the “Bread Loaf Parts,” and layer them as shown in the figure (overlapping the red-line areas).

Mark with a pen

Mark the spots shown in the figure with a pen.

Connect the marks with a line

Connect the left and right marks with a straight line.

Add seam allowance

Draw another line 1 cm above the line you drew in step 3-3 to add seam allowance.

Cut away the excess

Cut the pattern along the line you drew in step 3-4. The “Outer C” of the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat” is now modified.

Modify the Cube-Shaped Plush Hat “Outer A”

Now layer the “Outer A” of the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat” and the “A” of the “Bread Loaf Parts” the same way as in step 3-1, and tape them together.

Pattern preparation complete

We’ll proceed using these 5 pieces: the modified “Outer A” and “Outer C” of the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat,” the “Outer B” and “Lining A” of the “Cube-Shaped Plush Hat,” and the “B” of the “Bread Loaf Parts.”

Cut out the fabric

Cut two pieces from Outer A

Cut two pieces of fabric from the Outer A pattern.
One is for the front, the other for the back of the head.
For the front piece, also cut a face opening.

Cut two pieces from Outer C too

Cut two pieces of fabric from the Outer C pattern as well. These are the pieces for both sides of the bread loaf.

Cut one piece from “Bread Loaf Parts” B

Cut just one piece from the “B” pattern of the “Bread Loaf Parts.” This is the piece for the top (crown) of the bread loaf.

Cut one piece from Outer B

Cut just one piece from the Outer B pattern. This is the piece for the bottom of the bread loaf.

From here, the steps are the same as the Cube-Shaped Plush Hat

For the bread loaf, join the pieces as shown

Place the “B” of the “Bread Loaf Parts” in the middle, and join an Outer C piece on each side.

The last panel is the back-of-head piece

For the bread loaf, the last piece to sew is the “back-of-head piece” you cut from Outer A.
